Mack’s Player Tribune letter to Sharks fans!

From the Habs OT game winner. I mean, how could I NOT

If you can send Cap'n Mack back to any one season in franchise history, which would it be?

Been listening to NHL Unscripted pod, which sounds like is going to end and not get "renewed".

Also listened to the SJHN podcast with JD and Natalie Noury. I don't watch every pre or post game, but am I missing something or has he not been doing this?

After Unscripted does he have any gigs?

Hi everyone, I’ll be going to the Dallas for the first time to catch the game (I’m from the bay so I only ever really go to home games). Please drop any suggestions for the Stars arena!!! Thank you 🦈

I'm going to my first game this week (I'm so excited!!!) and I'd love to get a warm up puck. I know players will often give them to fans during warm ups but I'm way too awkward to try for that!

I've heard they sell the leftover pucks. Is this true? If so, where would I go to buy? Thanks in advance!

Are we doing it?

Hi y'all! My husband and I will be flying in from NC to catch both the PWHL San Jose v Frost and the Sharks v Canes games in March '27. We can't wait to go- I'm a diehard Canes fan, but Sharks games always look like a good time on tv!

It'll be our first time in San Jose and we're looking for recommendations. I'm a Type A travel planner- I know I'm asking very early, lol. I've done my googling and have a list, but I'd love to hear from locals to help me narrow it down or add anything I might have missed.

What must we do and see?

We are food/beverage travelers so please hit me with any restaurant and brewery recommendations.

Im a reader so I always trying to support a local bookstore (or two) when we go somewhere new- I see there are a lot if indie bookstores in the area- does anyone have a favorite?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

He’s so funny. 😆 And they said he’s going to tnt coming up. 😎😎

Also Mario playing! 🥹

Ripped 22 packs of various 90s hockey cards and got some awesome new Sharks! Absolutely love the Brian Hayward Stadium Club card!

Join Paul and I tonight at 9pm for Episode 301 of The Fin Factor as we talk about whether the San Jose Sharks should trade for Detroit Red Wings defenseman Simon Edvinsson. The 6'6" Swedish left-shot defenseman is an unsigned RFA who has to sign by December 1, and the Sharks are reportedly one of the teams in talks. What would Detroit want, what would Mike Grier offer, and would Edvinsson be the Sharks' best left-shot defenseman?

We also recap the Sharks' road trip: Macklin Celebrini's OT winner capping a comeback in Montreal, Yaroslav Askarov stealing the first regulation win of the season in Ottawa, and a 3-2 third-period lead disappearing in Boston. Plus the road trip WAR breakdown, who's trending up and down, the Alex Wennberg and Igor Chernyshov injuries, Ivar Stenberg in the Calder race, and this week's games against Buffalo, Vancouver and Ottawa.

Thanks for joining and supporting us, we hope to see you tonight!

Made a fun meme for the regulation win from a few days ago.

We definitely need to make some adjustments

We may never lose again.

I’m not yet fluent in hockey speak. At 3:15 Colby asks Connor about Celebrini and he mentions that Celebrini said to him “I can’t be force feeding you the puck.” What does this mean? I’ve been wondering for weeks so I appreciate you interpreting for me. https://youtu.be/v0LMR2xo9yI?is=PXpACsey_raOoxQX

Hello! Wondering if mystery pucks can be ordered online at all for international fans, or are they only at the venue?

Thank you!

I dunno even how you would address this outside of strength and conditioning needing to do better jobs.

71 combined points for WillMack in 143 games for around .50 per game. List is sorted by points per game.

Smith scored 28, Celebrini scored 27, and both assisted 16. Elite list to be on for two young players.

Beat reporter Curtis Pashelka offers a progress report on the Sharks highightling what's working (goal tending, power plays, Stenberg) and what's not working (third periods, defensive structure and lack of high-danger opportunities).

I think of Shannon as the ultimate eye-test kind of metric. His comments about San Jose this week were that he thought they had a good road trip, but they dropped because a few teams had better weeks and passed them. He also noted that they passed Anaheim, who dropped a lot.

I haven't watched Buffalo play, but Tuesday's game will be an interesting test of how these two teams are rated.

Also I feel a bit better about the Boston games. Apparently they're great this year. :/

Were by and large lovely. One of the better away games I’ve been to in terms of feeling safe as a solo female fan.

However one dude yelled at Stenny “GO BACK TO RUSSIA”. shoutout to the sweet BU Russian major sitting behind me (Bruins fan) who shouted back “HE’S SWEDISH!”

Same dude also yelled at Nurse, “your sister skates better than you!” Which like dude. His sister is a professional athlete but doesn’t play hockey, and Sarah is his cousin and a freaking Olympian. And Darnell seems like he doesn’t hate women so I’m not sure that insult really lands.
