Seriously, WTF??? Why does every 3rd result from a search not actually show a search result????? If I wanted a random recommendation, I would've looked at my RECOMMENDATIONS FEED. Why is it that when I search for something, I get some FUCKING RANDOM BULLSHIT as a search result??? It's not even like I'm searching for something obscure. There're probably THOUSANDS of videos that would fit as a result. But no, instead I get this BULLSHIT pseudo-recommendation search, when I ALREADY AM TRYING TO STAY ON THIS GODDAMN PLATFORM! FUCK THIS APP AND FUCK THIS COMPANY.

what is this and why is YT doing NOTHING about these ads, yet they mark adult videos as ”for kids”

I get so many “scary Reddit threads” recommendations but I want channels who actually take time to research scary happenings whether it’s videos or just stories. What’s your go to channel for content like this?

Long-press the YouTube app icon on your phone's home screen or app drawer. A popup menu will appear with a direct Subscriptions shortcut. Long-press and drag that shortcut onto your home screen to create a dedicated one-tap icon that bypasses Home entirely.

I don't have an iPhone so I'm not sure if it works on iOS.

Why do we need this grey border around videos?!

The subscriptions tab not being at the bottom and the recommended categories not being directly at the top are throwing me off and now just looks ugly imo. If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it, this is just changing years of muscle memory at this point lol

I live in Germany but I watch little to no German-language videos. Since yesterday, I'm suddenly being suggested political propaganda that has nothing to do with anything else I watch, promoting a specific party that I find troubling, to say the least. A lot of it makes heavy use of AI slop, and it's all about fear-mongering and rage-baiting. I can see no reason why those would be promoted to me, unless youtube is specifically trying to boost them by any means.

I wonder if anybody else noticed a similar shift recently.

Very annoying dark pattern. Message to advertizers: those ad clicks are not genuine and I go back immediately without even seeing your message. You are wasting your money paying google for tricking their users for a click.

I was going to watch a subscriber count live stream and before the live stream started there were 3 advertisements before the video. This is really getting out of hand.

Video has 2.6k views so this has to be a bug of some kind right?

Look why did they put the subscription tab literally at the top we have YouTube alternatives but They are not as good as this goddamn platform we seriously need a new CEO and also to goddamn fire Neal Mohan because A indian CEO is Seriously not perfect.

The YouTube Enshittification is getting worse every since they remove the dislike button I do not like everything happening on YouTube nowadays hopefully we get a new CEO that is actually good instead of greedy.

Like it looks ugly. But also on a phone app I can't read the full title nor the thumbnails big enough no more to be able to glance it unless i really pay attention. Wtf youtube. I even sent a feedback to them telling them to reverse it. I am actually enraged. It feels repellant to look at.
