Nearly 2 am and this shows up. Please delete this forever...

how did this ai slop ad manage to bypass copyright? because youtube loves ai ads. but why is this, the orange being fed a orange, george pig pooping, micheal pig ads and more allowed on yt? Also, I AGAIN SWEAR I HAVE NEVER SEEN A KIDS VIDEO ON YT IN MY LIFE!

Having dinner while the traditional Youtube video plays in the background. I feel like I am losing it. For the past year, 80% of commentary/essay videos I've clicked through feel like AI script. The "and here's the interesting thing!" you get in AI gen breakdowns has become like a sleeper agent trigger to me. I've mentioned this to my sibling recently but they said I'm Truman show-ing myself. Has anyone else got this weird intuition they've been listening to digitally regurgitated fakes? I miss easily finding creators just blatantly venting their thoughts and theories and having it feel human.

Stop with the UI changes that make things worse!! Now to see which of your subscriptions have uploaded a new vid, instead of clicking one thing you have to click three 🙄

Auto-moderators keep blocking my attempts to write about this, so I'm gonna have to be very light on the description.

I live in Germany but I watch little to no German-language videos. Since yesterday, I'm suddenly being suggested political propaganda that has nothing to do with anything else I watch, promoting a specific party that I find troubling, to say the least. A lot of it makes heavy use of AI slop, and it's all about fear-mongering and rage-baiting. I can see no reason why those would be promoted to me, unless youtube is specifically trying to boost them by any means.

I wonder if anybody else noticed a similar shift recently.

When you launch the app with the new layout the subscription tab is gone from bottom row. It’s now hidden, you have to pull down on Home Screen to see the sub tab in the top row now.

God I hope this is an A/B test that they revert 😩

Youtube wants more money as i understand

these election ads are pissing me off, every ad break it's 2 long unskippable ads that they've showed me a billion times.

everytime I'm trying to unwind & watch some videos I can't go a few minutes without politics being shoved in my face with no option to skip, & 1 isn't enough they do 2 everytime.

youtube has been bad with the ads for a while now but it was at least somewhat tolerable because it was different stuff & you could skip, now it's just the same annoying politics ads over & over & over & over & over again with no option to skip

I didn't feel like Repeating the Description so I just Screenshot It

What happens:

at about 10:30-11:00 the video will suddenly appear to open another video or load a ad, but its actually the sponsor of the video, being loaded as its own segment to prevent skipping on something like a TV, and it breaks sponserblock

The song is "Meguriai" by Mako Ishino. Searching multiple combinations (sometimes in half-Japanese) results in this same message.

Is there a reason for this. All other tracks on the album search fine except for this one and "Mimosa no Kisetsu". This is very weird behaviour.

Is there anyway to get it back? It’s been like this for a week now. Really killing the mobile experience.

its so ugly bro wtf change it back

the 2nd photo looks just ever so slightly different than usual, and its reccomending different stuff than usual all of a sudden

Who tf keeps changing the ui, who tf thought this was a good idea, and who tf needs to die for them to stop?

I believe there are more questions in his channel just that he deleted everything, he couldn't even take the questions that were simply just questions about his own content, mistook it as hate, I believe there has to be some sort of source of this behaviors, Don't know where he takes the mindset of "Deleting all hate comments" either because some are reasonable questioning mistook as hates too.

I do not care about any of these videos and they are not remotely about anything I watch and they keep showing up on my sidebar no matter how much I click not interested. Is there a setting or even add on to just block this garbage?

YouTube now gives me only 5 or so videos in my feed and stops me from scrolling. Then I have to constantly refresh. Anyone else experiencing this?

The hell did they do to the UI??? Funny part is that its normal on my tablet😂

I see these dumb comment previews on every video and it's starting to make me a little mad. I circled it so I could be clear about what I want to turn off, but it's starting to piss me off. I will click on the comments if I want to see other people's opinions, I do not want to see it when I'm watching the video.

Can't even distinguish between shorts and videos properly. I think they are on a contest on who makes the worst UI.
