Seriously, WTF??? Why does every 3rd result from a search not actually show a search result????? If I wanted a random recommendation, I would've looked at my RECOMMENDATIONS FEED. Why is it that when I search for something, I get some FUCKING RANDOM BULLSHIT as a search result??? It's not even like I'm searching for something obscure. There're probably THOUSANDS of videos that would fit as a result. But no, instead I get this BULLSHIT pseudo-recommendation search, when I ALREADY AM TRYING TO STAY ON THIS GODDAMN PLATFORM! FUCK THIS APP AND FUCK THIS COMPANY.

Who tf keeps changing the ui, who tf thought this was a good idea, and who tf needs to die for them to stop?

STOP CHANGING THE DAMN UI YOUTUBE IT'S PERFECTLY FINE

I'm getting sick and tired of youtube chaeging the ui like every week now

The subscriptions tab not being at the bottom and the recommended categories not being directly at the top are throwing me off and now just looks ugly imo. If it ain’t broke then don’t fix it, this is just changing years of muscle memory at this point lol

This layout is pure trash

Auto-moderators keep blocking my attempts to write about this, so I'm gonna have to be very light on the description.

I live in Germany but I watch little to no German-language videos. Since yesterday, I'm suddenly being suggested political propaganda that has nothing to do with anything else I watch, promoting a specific party that I find troubling, to say the least. A lot of it makes heavy use of AI slop, and it's all about fear-mongering and rage-baiting. I can see no reason why those would be promoted to me, unless youtube is specifically trying to boost them by any means.

I wonder if anybody else noticed a similar shift recently.

like come on it looks so bad, mfers removed the library button and made it look worse by uncentering the upload button

I didn't feel like Repeating the Description so I just Screenshot It

Didn’t realise how awfully wank this new ui was until this morning 😭✌️
Btw it’s the bar

I got this while I was literally watching a short I don't know if this happened while I was watching or it happened and I didn't notice it before

Possibly it's the amount of channels created about AI or made by AI and "retirement" of older youtubers? I come from the Jenna Marbles / Epic Meal time days days of yore....so this is new to me...

The android mobile app has had the subscriptions button removed from the main buttons at the bottom.

It's now in a little menu at the top.

Daft and unhelpful.

Why get rid of something that’s super useful for users like that? Just why?

Just saw the ui change on the ios app. How on earth am I supposed to see only my subscriptions that are live? The live tab at the top shows more than just my subs. Dont like this layout
