Next Tuesday, Maryland will vote a shit-ton of people into political office, with real executive and legislative power.

If your argument is that it doesn't matter who gets entrusted with that power, then you have zero right to complain about anything they do for the remainder of their term.

Just a heads up there is a lady outside of the Trinity Recreational Center asking people if they want the local school board info while handing out orange ballots. Seems a bit disingenuous to sound a bit bipartisan while handing out stuff for the one side. Hopefully everyone shows up informed prior to showing up.

I'm a long time collector and recently have been collecting box sets of old shows and movies. Stuff that was on early cartoon network or late night adult swim (the anime hours), like power puff girls, dragon ball z, avatar the last air bender etc. Or, just film buffs in general as i've been binging classic horror films recently. I'm hoping to maybe chat for a little on here, discord, instagram and maybe make a group and watch some of my DVDs together at the downtown library using my laptop. Maybe build a routine of it, as all my friends live a long distance id like to build a local friend group, i'm 20 so ages around 19-26? Please DM me if anyone has any interest! Question for any current or previous FCPS subs (or anyone with insight). How many days a week can I expect to have work? I’m applying to get a certificate leading into licensure next year but am looking to sub in the meantime. Mostly wondering if I should get a part time job in addition to it. I’m pretty flexible with traveling for the most part, willing to drive.

If I can make it work full time, I’d rather do that, but again I’m open to getting a second job.

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!
