Hey everyone!

I'm Ariel, founder of We Are Mass Effect.

With N7 Day approaching, we wanted to share another amazing community initiative with all of you!

On November 7, we're encouraging as many Mass Effect fans as possible to jump back into Mass Effect Legendary Edition at the same time!

The idea is simple! Bring the community together, celebrate the franchise we love, and hopefully create a noticeable spike in the game's Steam player count to show just how passionate and active this community still is.

Here's when to join:

• 🇺🇸 PST: 11 AM – 2 PM
• 🇺🇸 EST: 2 PM – 5 PM
• 🇬🇧 GMT: 7 PM – 10 PM
• 🇪🇺 CET: 8 PM – 11 PM

What if you play on console or the EA app? Well, you're absolutely welcome to participate too! Share screenshots, clips, or posts of yourself playing during the event using #SaveMassEffect.

A few important things:

• Play whichever Mass Effect game you already own. You don't need to buy anything!
• One account per person.
• Share the initiative with other fans and communities to help us reach as many people as possible.

A huge shoutout to Astralaeyna for creating this fantastic artwork and reaching out to us to help promote the initiative! ❤️

The Game Awards will have #SAVEMASSEFFECT

Being able to play the glorious multiplayer mode again after so many years thanks to the LEMP mod has brought me genuine joy. Curious if others have heard of or tried it.

Experiments with Yahg? Extremely dangerous; there's a reason why visiting his home planet was forbidden.

Kidnapping Turians? Well, to be fair, the Illusive Man was a victim of them, that's fine, but experimenting on their own agents? I think he was rotten.

I think we were never shown just how demented they were at Cerberus, That's why I really like Jack's loyalty mission.

...to start my third playthrough of the trilogy.

I'm doing my "select nothing but Paragon and upper-hand options" run (the next will be the all Renegade and bottom-hand options). Right now, the plan is to romance Ashley in 1 (even if I'm still letting her die on Virmire) and Jack in 2 and 3 (per someone's suggestion that she's actually a good romance for Paragon!Shepard).

Sorry for the constant zooming in and out.

Because I never had an official merchandise mass effect so I made it my own. Probably I should make N7 patch

There are a lot of feelings out there right now about the fate of Bioware. For those that think you've been "let down" somehow, or that they "got what they deserved"... Star Trek hasn't had anything "good" since before many of you were born. I couldn't bring myself to watch the last few seasons of Discovery, or a single nanosecond of Academy. But I will never, ever say they should stop trying to make new Star Trek. Someday they will get it right again, and that is all that matters.

Bioware basically had two game franchises¹ -- Mass Effect and Dragon Age. One bad² game in each and you're ready to put a bullet in their heads? Come on. Try being a Trek fan. We'd be mass murderers if we followed that standard.

"It has been too long. Their time is up"? Based on an arbitrary number of times our little rock has slung itself around the Sun? It was 18 years between the final TOS episode and the first TNG. And the last episode of TNG was 32 years ago.

Game devs are artists. Maybe they wanted to work on something else, not paint the same picture again. That's their right. They don't owe you a new game. And everything can't be a banger. TNG season 3 gave us Yesterday's Enterprise and Best of Both Worlds at the same time as The Price and Transfigurations.

As a gamer, you have exactly the same thing today that you had before the announcement. The Bioware devs lost their jobs and something they had spent years working on. You lost precisely nothing because you never had it.

I can't stop you from shouting "IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SHIIIIIIIIIT" and "THEY DESERVED IT" into the void. But you don't know that, and I don't know that it wouldn't be. But I do know that I wanted to find out. Flame on, Internet.

¹Don't know anything about Anthem.

²Andromeda gave us Drack, which was worth the entire game. Fuck you for disagreeing.

Art by me @ace_eisu

First few days when news broke out I was kinda in shock and sad but with coming days it made me branch out and reach out to people and rally people who don't see news to relay it to them and get them to commemorate.

Alas if nothing comes of it Normady had it's last flight away into sunset. Not one we expected but one we've had.

After all this time?

Hey everyone!

I'm Ariel, founder of We Are Mass Effect and one of the people helping organize the #SaveMassEffect movement!

I'm incredibly excited to share something we've been working on with you all.

Together with the amazing Kala Elizabeth, we've managed to get a #SaveMassEffect billboard in Times Square, New York City, for the entire day today!

This is part of our ongoing effort to bring more visibility to the movement and show just how much Mass Effect, Dragon Age, BioWare, and the people behind these incredible games mean to us.

If you're in NYC and want to see it in person, here are the details:

📍 Location: 1560 Broadway, Times Square. Stand in Duffy Square and look above the Pelé store.

⏰ When: Every hour at :35, for 15 seconds, throughout the day.

We've already reached 200,000 signatures on the petition, and we're not stopping here. Our next goal is 300,000!

I want to thank everyone who's been supporting, sharing, signing, and helping us make all of this possible. Seeing so many people come together for something we love has been genuinely incredible.

And if you happen to be in Times Square today, please take some pictures or videos of the billboard and share them with us! We'd absolutely love to see them.

HOLD THE LINE! ❤️

Hi r/masseffect - I'm now one of the collaborators for @wearemasseffect, the group responsible for organising this billboard with KalaElizabeth.

As is the case with everyone else in this subreddit, I love Mass Effect. It has taught me so much and given me so much in my life. Now, I'm willing to do everything I can to fight for its future.

But like Shepard, we can't go it alone. That's why I'm writing this message as a call to action.

If you're a content creator, we ask that you spread the word to your audiences and create content for #SaveMassEffect.

If you're a part of a Mass Effect server or online community, we ask that you rally as many of your friends as possible.

And if you love Mass Effect and want to see a future with more of it, now is the critical moment where we must unite.

Thank you for taking the time to read my message.

Stand fast. Stand strong. Stand together.
