Casual It was nice seeing SEA def dominate KC
Not because “fuck the chiefs” or anything like that. It was reassuring to see an established qb/coaching staff get totally rattled by that Seahawks defense. I’m not buying the narrative of “Drake Maye can’t read defenses” or “Drake Maye can’t beat cover 6” etc.. I mean obviously he still has a long way to go as a super young QB but that’s the encouraging part. Imagine what he can do when he is reading defenses at an elite level pre and post-snap. And, mistakes like last weeks INT still have a silver lining. Even though the decision wasn’t bad, the throw was. Just a reminder that even though he isn’t making bad decisions he still has to make the right throw, which would have been placing the throw where the defender doesn’t have a chance at it.
Anyhoot

Stats Was Drake Maye statistically the best QB in October?
So here are Drake Maye’s stats in October (Weeks 4-7):
67.2% Completion %
12 Passing TDs, 2 INTs
2 Rushing TDs
300 Yards Passing per game
32 Yards Rushing per game
119 Passer Rating
3-1 Record with wins against Raiders, Bills and Jets and a loss against the Bears
That’s a pretty good turnaround for a guy who couldn’t have had a worse start to the season.

Discussion Drake took a lot of criticism for the performance against the Seattle defense.
After watching the late game last night, Mahomes looked so much worse and Seattle completely shut down their run game. We were moving the ball against the Seattle defense and even spotted them a 10-0 lead. Despite our 4th quarter collapse I think it’s a good chance we would have won if Drake didn’t force the throw in the red zone.

Discussion Mahomes is getting a taste of what Maye was up against in the SB tonight
Chiefs only have a field goal and haven’t gotten inside the 20 all night. Collinsworth was just commenting on how he’s never seen Mahomes look this way before and how he’s reacting to just getting his ass absolutely kicked.
Mahomes is 19/33 for 165 yards and a pick
58.3 rating

Discussion Meatball Mahomes
Mahomes played significantly worse against the Seattle team than Drake Maye did in the Super Bowl, and arguably worse than Drake in Week 1. Not even a Red-zone appearance?
Mahomes was only good because he hasn't played any REAL defenses! This dude is a total fraud!

Casual A lot of good/solid teams lost this week
Look, I am not happy we lost and know damn well that with better defensive play and other factors we could have won that game Thursday night. But, the Bears are a good team.
This Sunday was nice just to follow the rest of the NFL and I watched a lot of good and solid teams fall; the 49ers, Texans, Chiefs, Panthers, Packers, etc These were all teams either in 1st or aiming to be in 1st and make a strong playoff run. With all those losses I didn’t think their season is doomed and playoffs questionable.
It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, I know we have injuries, but this team is gonna be fine. We aren’t going for the same record as last year and going to experience more losses this year. I think we exercise some demons on the Dolphins next week and then roll in a tough 5 games stretch (well maybe not the Chargers)
I think we can be 7-4 by December.

Casual Can anyone guess what the Bills don't have in common with the teams that they are happy lost?

Discussion Drake's no Diva
Watching SNF made me appreciate how humble, cool and sportsmanlike Maye is. You never see him throwing a fit when someone drops a pass (even the dimes) or sprinting to the refs to beg for a flag like some of the league's darlings (Mahomes/Allen being the greatest examples). Glad we have a real one who lets his work speak for itself!!!

Discussion Season ticket waitlist duration?
Hey everyone - can anyone who has gotten season tickets in the last couple years share how long they were on the waitlist for? I’ve been on the list for a couple years and am wondering what a reasonable expectation is for a wait time. I don’t think the Patriots publicly post their wait time so this is the only way I can think to find out. Thanks!

Discussion Sam Darnold
Sam “meatball sub” Darnold. Seriously why does Maye get so much shit for INT’s when Darnold is notorious for INT’s, especially in the red zone. He’s a vet too.
On another note I’m stoked to continue watching young Drake develop into the best QB in the league within the next 2-3 years.

Creating a Pats uniform concept. Need some feedback for the shoulder stripe design. which looks better, Option 1 (Blue-red-blue) or 2 (Red-blue-red)?

Discussion What would a trade for Taylor look like?
Haven’t looked too much into it, and with us giving up a first for AJ Brown, do the Pats have assets to give for JT? Obviously the run game is a pretty weak point, just wondering if a pick up like this would be possible/make sense
