LAS VEGAS — Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum hesitated just a moment before he cut on a stiff right ankle. Then he hit the turbo booster like a man on a mission, or at least one who spent so many pitch-dark early mornings this summer dreaming of a game like this.
He zipped through a hole on the left side of the line, rode the hip of his lineman up past a block from Konata Mumpfield, then became a sprinter in pursuit of a stripe marking the end zone, and so he raced past diving Las Vegas Raiders defenders for a 43-yard score. But a flag for a face mask wiped it off the board.
He later scored another touchdown by powering through from two yards out, only to see another flag for offensive holding.
By the time he got one more carry from inside the 5-yard line with just more than six minutes left, he was not only due but in a flow state. Corum took the ball and stopped again, freezing time and letting the chessboard rotate, before exploding off that right ankle to glide diagonally like a queen across the board. Touchdown. Checkmate.
Sunday’s 35-21 win over the Raiders was the game that brought Corum’s viral offseason workout videos to life. It was the dose of upside the Rams needed in a season that keeps ripping away their stars.
The Rams have found their X-Factor in Corum.

Rams and cowboys have won or loss on the same weeks this season. Jerry is the reason the rams are in LA and the Super Bowl is in LA. This is the football gods tying us to their record. Just kidding obviously but kind of crazy weird fact.

The win was great yesterday but make no mistake the special teams was still garbage. At one point Mcvay just accepted kicking it out of the endzone on kickoffs which isnt sustainable and then that fake punt. I just cant see a world Bubba dodges the gallows much longer

Anybody know what we did to this 🤡 because I’ve not seen a bigger Rams hater in my life. No matter how good we do he’s got something slick to say ☠️

Put my new plates on friday and they get their first loss a couple of days later 😂

This is going to be the make or break game. Smells like trap game from a mile away. They are winless, coming off a BYE week... of course they are. We need to handle buisness, and treat this like a superbowl. Every game from here on out, is a Superbowl.

I understand McVay doesnt like playing rookies but lets look at Ferguson who was also a 2nd round TE last year.
Ferguson saw his first offensive snaps last year week 5 against the 49ers. In week 7 when McVay came out with a lot of 13P, Ferguson was a focus point including grabbing his first TD with the Rams.
We are now going into week 8 with Max Klare barely touching the field once. Could this be another Jarqueze Hunter situation? He did not even dress vs the Raiders this week even though McVay ran a ton of 13.

If you’re hoping for special teams to improve as this year progresses, don’t hold out hope. There’s a reason our ST units are consistently terrible, we simply don’t invest the capital or roster space necessary to have good teams. Let’s just hope Sean and Bubba can find a way to limit the bleeding

Shopping for a jersey. Anyone know any discount codes that will work? Tried TEAM40 and TREAT but they don’t seem to work.

You think he’ll play this Sunday? 🙏🏼

I don’t know about you guys but I was very impressed with AD99’s performance. I don’t have any numbers or anything but just the eye test to me showed him consistently getting pressure despite being constantly doubled. If we could just get him lined up with Garrett I think he’s going to explode

Like many of you I am dying to see the Rams add some talent to the WR room.
Jerry Jeudy
Brian Thomas Jr
Calvin Ridley
Marvin Mims
Darnell Mooney
Rashad Bateman
Are just a few names of estimated trade targets that I’d be interested in for cheap to help fill the gap between now and when Davante comes back for the playoffs(if the rams can make it there)
Yesterday was Mumpfield, Jwhitt and Tutu’s chances to show they can make something and with a total of 71 snaps between all of them they got two targets and one catch all game with all that going towards Mumpfield. On 32 drop backs that’s not enough.
How’s everyone feel about it? I don’t personally believe the rams can just sit in 13 personnel all game every game without the better defenses easily countering it.
Are there any other potential player trades you’d like to see?
