I’ve been playing the game with these new add-ons and I’m really enjoying them. I had seen this one available for purchase, but I assumed it was just some random backpack—until I found out it’s voiced by the original voice actor for the Mr. Gutsys! I love those characters, and I love the things he says from time to time; he’s way cooler than the standard backpacks—I love him! Also, could someone tell me how to put a Nuka-Cola Victory in his backpack? I saw that in the add-on’s promotional banners and I’d love to be able to do that.

I believe that Synths, atleast Gen 3 Synths, are “human.” While they don’t need to eat or sleep or take rads, they have a consciousness, they are sentient creatures. But the problem is that Synths can be rewritten by people who know what they are doing like the Railroad or the Institute. Infact Humans are somewhat programmable, but with Synths it requires less effort and routine and just a flip of a switch. The Railroad erasing the identities of Synths is misguided, yes it hides them but imagine the crisis of discovering you are not human and that your previous life was erased. The Institute is DEFO evil because what do you mean you create a whole new sentient and intelligent species and just see it as a tool. And don’t get me started on Maxon’s BOS, technophile fascists. So yes, Synths are human to an extent, they feel, they are intelligent, they are LIVING. And thus I believe that the Minutemen had the best approach, destroy the BOS and Institute and rescue the Synths as they are living beings.

So after I play the games in order, and learn more about the lore, I’d like to write a Fallout Fanfiction and possibly do a novella Fallout roleplay with someone too
In Fallout 4, the institute shows that they’re trying to make synthetic animals to bring back the old world
I’d like to have horses in the stories, as I wish they were a thing in the games, but unfortunately they’re not, and I’m leaning towards synthetic as we don’t see any irradiated horses in the games, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to just suddenly be there

The stunted Yao Guai withstood his attacks; I encounter this Yao Guai quite often and kill it quickly with sniper rifles or laser rifles.

I remember heading into a local gamestore and trading in some games. After having played Bioshock, Littlebigplanet and infamous for o so many months. I was really craving another game that let me make choices. Thats when the employee recommended to my dad and I Fallout 3.
I spent the next few months kind of just goingthrough and making multiple characters slowly making it towards the end not understanding a single thing of the lore. Just blindly handling tasks and not even paying attention to what any armor meant 💀
After finally entering the purifier to enter the code literally only one 3 digit number came to mind.
The same 3 digit number I heard like 100 times.
2-1-6. Number literally ingrained in my brain. One which shows up randomly like today.
Also fun little fact. I played fallout new vegas completely through Redbox rentals.

These are rooms I have yet to add, and I already have an armory, atrium, entrance, and power room.

Know this is kinda generic, but I am curious to see what ideas people have. Even throw in some potential factions or gameplay changes or anything like that.

I'm attempting to make as accurate a replica of an old military field radio as possible and am struggling to figure out a way to do so. Ideally, it should be light enough to not break my back carrying the thing, have two straps to be used as a backpack, a bit oversized so that it's visible from the front, and both openable in both of the places with latches so I can put a speaker in it. Also I was tinkering with adding a telephone to hang on one side of it, but it's less of a priority. I looked into using ammo cans, but none had the correct design on the side. Thinking I could maybe use the face of a ham radio for the top bit? Any advice would be appreciated, and if anyone has access to tools that make recreating this easier I'd be willing to pay!

Hey everyone! I've been working on a co-op mod for New Vegas and the first public version is out:
One player hosts their world, and friends join through Steam with their own characters. You play the actual game together: quests, fights, conversations, loot, the DLC.
What works:
Requirements: the Steam version of New Vegas, xNVSE, JIP LN NVSE, kNVSE, JohnnyGuitar NVSE, Real Time Menus and the 4GB Patcher. Everyone needs the same mods in the same load order (the game checks for you).
It's an early release, so there will be bugs: desyncs, weird NPC behaviour, the odd crash. If you hit one, please report it on the Nexus Bugs tab with the log files (instructions on the page), or come tell me on the Discord (link is on nexus)
I'd love to hear how your playthroughs go. Thanks for checking it out!

I’m diving deeper into the history of the franchise and would love to hear from fans who played the classic games (Fallout 1 & 2). I've only played from 3 to current.
How different are the lore, worldbuilding, and overall tone under Bethesda compared to the original Interplay/Black Isle era?
Appreciate any insights!

All of these are made by me, and will be handed out in very limited quantities while I’m visiting Mojave Mayhem 2026! Here’s an overview of each book:
The Deseret Cookbook: a cozy magazine of delicious(?) home-cooked recipes compiled by the head Mormon chef of a budding Utah settlement
How To Stop Being Dog-Ass at Caravan: self explanatory. A Caravan for dummies style book that holds the hand of the reader through the intricacies of the card game no one knows how to play
The Followers Field Manual for Disease: A meticulous medical document giving overviews of the symptoms, treatment, and prognosis of all of the diseases from Fallout 76 and more!!
The Legion Reclamation Campaign: A short military scouting report that ties into the lore of the Fallout TV show, outlining how Legate Lanius’ forces plan to re-take territory of a legion fort that defected and pledged allegiance to the Lacerta Legate (Macaulay Culkin’s character).
I’ve put well over a hundred hours into each of these books, so I’m very excited to show them to the world. They are all meticulously researched to be lore friendly, entertaining, and as factual as possible! I’ll be handing these out for caps/bartering (NO PREWAR MONEY ACCEPTED) at Junc Alley. So if you see a big and tall girl in a followers of the apocalypse coat, that’s probably me!!
