It is, in fact, National Black Cat Day, and as it turns out, a house with 25 indoor cats and a thriving feral colony MIGHT just have a few on hand.

Would you like to hear about Icebear, Stubby, Mercury, and some of our other voids past and present on a thematically appropriate card? I'd love to write and tell you about them!

This offer is open to users around the world who:

1. EITHER are flaired (meaning you have a little envelope below your name when you comment on this post, indicating at least one person on this sub has thanked you for a card you sent to them) OR have a profile showing a thanks post on RAoC within the past month (no private profiles).
2. Comment on this post with the name of a black cat you've known (a past or present pet of yours or a family member's, a famous black cat, a cat in art, etc.)
3. Also include in your comment whether you are US or WW (non-US).

One other important note: I have a whole ton of black cat cards in my stash, but some of them are from a set that was gifted to me quite a while ago that I am fairly certain is AI-generated. They're all adorable, because cats, and simplistic enough not to be obviously wrong with extra legs and junk, but if you are interested in claiming this offer, please know you may receive an AI card even though that is not something I purchase myself. But I can't see any point in throwing them out and this is just about the most appropriate use for them I can imagine, soooo, cardeat emptor?

I will comment if you're selected for a card and let you know if I need more information. If this offer is not marked as fulfilled, that means I've still got cards!

No guarantees of when it will arrive. May the energy and motivation be with us all!

Please leave a comment
You do not need to be flaired, we all start somewhere.

Did you know?

Elephants can hear through their feet? They can detect vibrations travelling through the ground. 🐘 This postcard somehow brought me so much peace, exactly what I need right now. Coincidence, or is the universe speaking to me through you? Thank you sooo much! ❤️

u/hoolu123 - thank you so much for your card. I love the envelope and all the stamp math. I can totally relate to the lag in replying to Cards. I’m currently a little bit behind. I think your method is great. I’m glad that you liked my stickers and the up cycled card. I get all my supplies from various places. I get most of my supplies from Amazon. Some of it from Michael’s or Five Below. Some of it is leftover artwork from art class. :) I am glad you liked everything. You were so kind to include the postcard and I love the joke on it. It made me laugh. Lol thank you thank you thank you.

Big thanks to u/amps_by_the_sea for remembering my birthday, even though I'm currently on a hiatus from carding due to personal reasons. If the return address on the envelope is still valid, I'd love to send something your way! You truly brightened up my day 🥰

Hello! I'm planning to officially move on my sister's old bedroom, and her room have a small room that I'm planning to make as my hobby room. I'm thinking of making a postcard wall of themes I particularly enjoy. After thinking about it, I decided I want the theme to be city night view/night sky and lighthouses. They can be illustrated or photographed. I have collected quite a few postcards of those themes, but if you have some postcard to spare, I would greatly appreciate it. I will make sure to post thank you for every card I receive. Mahalo Nui!

Hello! I'm new to RAoC and I’m happy to be here

I’m sending out my form and opening up my offer for winter/holiday cards! I have a large inventory of cards and want to plan accordingly. I will be prioritizing exchanges but depending on inventory may have enough for some of both.

I'll be mailing most likely in batches starting early November.

If you'd like to receive a postcard or card please fill out the form: Mailing List Form

I look forward to future mail and connecting with others!

I wanted to quickly get out my thank yous (before I go insane at midnight) while working through my offer and making sure my mental to-do list is clear before I dive into my book haha

I appreciate all of you!! <3

I am once again offering my not-so-reliable psychic skills to my RAOC friends! Do you have a burning question that you need a psychic to answer? Do you need some advice on bad juju you’re getting from that coworker? Do you want to know if your neighbor Kendra is spying on you? Ask away! My answers may be funny and unreliable, but you’ll likely get a giggle!

To claim: Must be flaired with recent thank you posts. If your post history is hidden, unless I KNOW you, I’m going to pass. Please complete this form and leave a comment below. I’ll be sending them out in the next few days!
