If Thunder gets 60 wins, Shai better 3 peat mvp. This is like the equivalent of Jokic losing Jamal Murray and Gordon and Knicks losing Kat. The mvp is shais if they finish top seed or there about.

I keep seeing everyone dooming about OKC, but they still have the second best championship odds via Vegas.
This team has a historically good bench, even without JDub and Wallace. They kill teams with Shai sits, even in the playoffs (OKC has been better without Shai in the playoff for three straight years). They are truly a team of generational depth and still have a superstar (Shai), an all nba player (Chet), three god-tier role players (Mitchell, Hartenstein, and Caruso), and plenty of other depth and high-caliber young players.
Obviously these injuries hurt their ceiling, but they’re still a Tier 1 contender with the Spurs.

Okc needs a reliable durable scorer who they can cover for on defense. I think derozan would be good, powell would be even better and only gets paid $20 million. He was an all star last season and always steps up when given minutes. Okc should go after him after what happened to jdubb using their disabled player exception.

BREAKING: Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams has a dislocated left ankle and fractured fibula; Cason Wallace has a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Both will undergo surgery and be sidelined for several months -- most, if not the entire season.

What was the website that showed daily games in the upper right corner for the best must watch games based on player availability, home/away, and win/less records.

These professional leagues have turned in to absolute shit since betting/gambling has taken over. Adam Silver needs removed! Solely focused on enriching his own. F him! I was just looking up a preview of a basketball game the other day and all I find in every single video is who I should put money on in each game. Can I watch one video that isn’t talking about betting and instead just focused on the game, players, adjustments, skills, etc.?

Joksimovic created a huge advantage with good kick-out passes and quick transition play from defense to offense.
Stefan has delivered two strong games in the last three days against top EL teams (PAO & Valencia). His role is rapidly growing as he earns more and more trust from coach Perasovic.

It’s obvious 'Mr. Spray Paint Head' is mad he’s not as valuable as he thought he was. 🤷🏿♂️ I guess T-Mac throwing shots at Tatum as soon as he returned was really Jaylen Brown speaking through him.
Brown is mad he’s never been seen as better than Tatum—except when it’s time for fans and the media to hate on Tatum. That’s the only time Brown was ever considered a great player. The year he won Finals MVP, he didn't even make All-NBA. He’s literally a two-time All-NBA player, but you would’ve thought he was a consistent All-NBA guy the way people have been gassing him up. For some reason, a lot of fans seem to think Jaylen Brown’s whole career is just three playoff series.

I'm feeling like this is gonna be SGA's year. The narrative is now for him so if he averages 34-36 on his elite efficiency along with the team still winning 62-70 games then he will have a really strong case. I'm probably gonna get insanely downvoted for this take (as I should) but just hear me out before you start putting in the angry comments.

Update: my pal @andrewschlecht.bsky.social received clarification that both Topic and Sorber are still out and that their omission from the injury report was a clerical error
___________
Topic and Sorber were incorrectly listed as available for tonight’s game against Phoenix earlier today.
