Artwork gluttony... 🍟
(honestly, I just drew this because I thought the character was cute :D)
(and I haven't been able to try the game sorry🥲)

Apollo (w/ white) and Artemis, 3 yo, soul mates if not litter mates, chilling for a bit between getting back to sibling rivalry.

So I did a thing. I was preparing a little altar yesterday for Día de Muertos de la Mascota for my girl Gracie who died in March at 15 years old and saw this poor 8 year old boy at the Kentucky Humane Society whose human died and he needed a home. So welcome to Günther! He’s very scared and timid but is starting to warm up this morning. I’m not sure that’s his real name but for now that’s what I’m going to call him.
After Gracie died someone told me that the highest tribute to the dog who left is to offer her empty bed to another dog who has no one. She did not teach you how to love just so you could stop. And he slept in her bed next to mine all night and is such a good boy. #rescue #foster #adopt

Beau has been by my side through divorce, painful
depression, moving to another state. He was diagnosed in the ER 1 week ago with IVDD - he is doing well, lots of rest until next check up, and no signs of decline 🥹🫶🏼💙

Corpse Bride has always been my go-to Halloween movie, so I’ve wanted a doll of Emily since forever. So when she became a Skullector, I was over the damn moon. But like a lot of people, I thought she was kind of a letdown; I thought the dress felt playline or like an afterthought. I kept her stock for a while, thinking she’d grow on me, but I eventually had to accept that it wasn’t moving or creating the drama I wanted. So I decided to finally go for it and make her a new dress.
I love her movie design, so I wanted to stay true to that, but since skullectors reinterpret looks instead of doing them 1:1, I thought this was a great opportunity to add an 1870s-1880s inspiration into her look, so it’s not pure 2000s. My biggest creative challenge here was to suggest decay without actually shredding the dress to be threadbare; not only was I scared any fraying would get away from me, but I still wanted her to look like a collector doll.
Tonner doll’s take on Emily did this smart move where they used lace and sheer overlays to mimic distressing without actually shredding the dress, which is something I decided to implement with the layered bodice texture and ruched tulle overlay, that I *did* cut tatters in.
She took a while from sketch to final, so I hope you guys like her and Happy Hallo-week!

I created the Mystery Shack in my trunk! We have the crystal ball, the rock that looks like a face, the jar of eyeballs, the horse riding a horse, the most hideous creature in the world and a unicorn (because I could not for the life of me find a rabbit plushie to turn into a jackalope). We gave away Doritos that I had drawn Bill Cypher on.
