Finally retired my 49" ultrawide and made the jump to triple 32" 4K OLED monitors.
Decided to overhaul the rig while I was at it:
- Monitors: Triple 32" 4K OLED (11520 × 2160)
- GPU: RTX 5090 Founders Edition
- CPU: Ryzen 7 9850X3D
- Wheelbase: Simagic Alpha EVO Ultra 28Nm
- Wheels: Simagic GT Neo and Neo X-330R
- Pedals: Fanatec ClubSport V3
- Shifter: Fanatec ClubSport
- Software: iRacing and Assetto Corsa
Getting everything aligned, mounted, wired, and configured was definitely more work than I anticipated, but the immersion is on another level.
Still dialing in the FFB, graphics settings, and bass shakers, but I'm really happy with how it's coming together.
Anyone else running triple 4K OLEDs? Curious what graphics settings and FPS you're getting, especially in iRacing.

Hey everyone,
I'm a beginner, but I already have a used rig at home. Someone is offering me a Fanatec set for €120 total for local pickup:
Fanatec CSL Elite Wheel Base + (with original box)
Fanatec CSL Elite WRC Steering Wheel
Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals incl. Loadcell Kit
I've already done some research: The gear is definitely quite old by now, but according to many reviews, it's still pretty solid and performs well.
What do you guys think? Is this a no-brainer for €120 to get started?
Thanks for your help!

In the sim I play AC and AC Evo (street cars only) on a simagic alpha mini, cheap H shifter, and a single 42” flat screen.
I have a first generation 86 with minimal performance mods (brake pads, fluid, 200tw tires, and camber bolts). I have previously completed 90 mins total at Streets of willow springs in SoCal. The car performed beautifully while I was lacking. I will be heading back to the same track in a month.
I don’t have an ego and I will point by anyone I see behind me. I am definitely losing a lot of seconds in the braking zone after a long straight. Threshold braking is scary AF and my heel toe downshifts are ass. The additional information I feel from the car in real life is a bit overwhelming compared to sim racing.
My goals for sim racing is purely to become a better driver on track in my own car. What are some common mistakes sim players make when driving on track? What should I focus my practice on in the sim before my next track day?

I’m thinking of buying my first metal rig, is this setup worth the 700€ I’m trying to buy it for? I already own Simagic Alpha Evo 9Nm and Simagic’s P500
EDIT: I’m on a bit of a budget, so I can’t spend a lot. I’m about 174cm and I want to race in games like LMU or AC, and in the future iRacing

Wheel and pedals are the ThrustMaster T248R package, currently have the playseat cockpit (picture below) but tnot liking the bar down the middle and no holder for the gear shifter.
Any of these options viable? Anyone else have these rigs that could comment on them, little to no reviews for most of them and prices are very similar about $400-$450cad.

What's new:
- Landscape instantly adapting to the track shape.
- Instant day/night toggle at a push of a button.
- Light intensity, height and cone size.
- Automatic 100 / 50 / 25 meter marks for braking before the long straights.

Just graduated and moved into a small apartment. I always want to get a serious DD setup, but there's no way I can put a full cockpit in my room and finally I ended up getting a PXN VD6.
Been playing Assetto Corsa on PC for about a week now and the difference is sooo noticeable compared to G29. 6Nm feels plenty for me right now and the steering feels way smoother than what I was used to. I can actually feel the car going over curbs! Even when I push too hard into a corner, it's easier to tell when the front tires start losing grip.
And I was worried that this desk might wobble around when I'm turning the wheel too hard. But actually the clamp is solid and reliable. I'd say this update is a great success and Black friday is coming up, I'm tempted to upgrade something else. What do you suggest that can really improve the experience? A pedal or a GT wheel?

It just does not get much better. Please enjoy a bunch of screenies from two very-very wet races.
The Viper GTS-R at Catalunia and the Aston Martin DBR-9 at Spa.
It is a great workout both for feet and hands. Like dancing a salsa while juggling at the same time.

Building a new rig and currently have surround sound speakers which I love, but the wires are a mess. Has anyone used a surround sound Bluetooth system? Any recommendations? Also any recommendations for mounts to a motion sim? Thanks

It’s just amazing what you can find on fb marketplace. I’ve been slowly building my rig for a while now mainly with second hand stuff. I’ve had a few bargains but after suffering with a Playseat Chalkenge for so long I was looking to upgrade to cheap rig and was very worried about the sturdiness of the cheaper options. Then on marketplace I find this TrakRacer Tr8 v1 for £150 with next level seat and all peripherals. Very happy. Keep thinking I really ought to have DD wheelbase too but I just love the TGT-II.
This is pre cable tidy btw 🤣

Hi all!
I'm Yohan, an F1 25 player from Brazil. Full disclosure: I built this.
I always missed a "real" race engineer in the game, so I made one. It's a small Windows app that reads the game's UDP telemetry and talks to you over the radio while you drive.
What it does:
Why I think it's different:
Limitations: Windows only (the game can be on PS5, Xbox or PC), the PC must be on the same network as the console, and Windows SmartScreen will warn you because the app isn't code-signed (the source is on GitHub if you want to check it).
Download: https://github.com/yohanfv/engenheiro/releases/latest
I'd love feedback: what calls are missing, what's annoying, which tracks behave strangely. And a question for you: what would you want a race engineer to tell you during a race?

So I am a guy who uses a mobile gyro to sim race, Was saving up some money to get a sim wheel
Currently I have enough to get a pxn v99 (Price: 23,000 INR)
The Moza R3 costs around 33,000 INR so a 10k jump.
Should I go for the v99 or save up more for the r3?
I'm a student so what's more financially correct for the long run.
Also I'm from India so how's the aftermarket support or customer care service of these two here? If anyone knows please help

I am thinking about buying my first wheel, have driven thrustmaster T128 and enjoyed it but it only stayed for only 2 weeks because it wasn't mine. For pc AC/Beamng my budget is 600-800$ thinking about thrustmaster t300 rs gt. I also do have an ps3 so that's the one of the reasons for the t300 rs gt
What I want:

My favorite circuit is Mount Panorama, located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia
Bathurst is absolutely insane : it has a huge 174-meter elevation change, with a really steep climb and a super dramatic descent. The track is extremely technical, especially up on the mountain, where it’s narrow, twisty, and lined with walls, so even the smallest mistake can cost you. Down below, though, there are long straights where the cars go over 300 km/h. And the craziest part is that outside race weekends, it turns back into a regular public road open to everyone. On top of that, it hosts legendary events like the Bathurst 1000 and the Bathurst 12 Hour

Hey guys,
Just wanted to get some opinions if the Sand storms are too visibly jarring. Should they be toned down, or is the visibility balance right.
Thanks Have a great day.
