Ayo and TSJ are too important to the bench and Jaden and Kuminga are gonna be asked to do more offensively.

Clark can't shoot for shit but his defense is elite and we can use him on the opposing team's best or second best player to conserve Jaden and Kuminga's energy. They wouldn't have to be chasing around someone like Steph Curry if Clark was assigned to him for example.

This would be like when Flip had Trenton Hassell starting instead of Wally even when Wally came back cause Hassell was a pain in the ass on defense and with Spree, Cassell, and KG on the floor, Flip didn't need another scorer.

Without Ant what’s our best path to winning games until he’s back?

Doesn’t sound as doom and gloom from their side of things.

Seeing a lot of posts about "cope". Why cope when we can stay grounded in reality?

We took it to Denver without Ant.

We beat San Antonio twice in the playoffs while he had two bad knees, not just one.

We did it before we even had LaMelo.

We have arguably the deepest guard rotation in the league.

Yeah not having Ant isn't ideal, but when Ayo, TSJ, Bones, McDaniels, LaMelo, and Kuminga can all score 20+ points on any given night, our other players are gonna step up.

We've already proven we can do it. That is not an unreasonable "cope". It's reality.

We'll do more than keep our head above water: we'll stay well above .500, Ant will heal like a crazy person and be back by Christmas, all will be good.

The Wolves received monumental news Tuesday night. Anthony Edwards will need arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and will miss multiple months, putting a damper on their exciting start to the season.

LaMelo led Charlotte to a 33–16 record in the latter part of last season with the NBA’s best offense over that stretch.

Full disclosure - We all love Ant and wouldn’t be where we are without him. He’s top 3 and we need him to win a title. HOWEVER, the ball often gets sticky and his ISO ball doesn’t do anyone else favors in finding a rhythm. We’ve seen this for several seasons now — Ant goes ISO for multiple possessions and the team gets into a lull both offensively and defensively. There’s something psychological when everyone touches the ball on the offensive end and we need to lean into that.

I expect full team ball these next two months. Jaden, Kuminga, TJ et al better wake up because they’re about to get fed.

Saw this on instagram and thought it was funny. Some guy made a video complaining about Rudy’s shooting and saying not to take 3s anymore. Rudy actually commented 😂

They were putting out stories about his family taking food from the facility after he got traded…he better drop 40 on em😂😂😂

On the bright side of this Ant injury, I have never felt more confident that Jaden McDaniels could take that next step. With lamelo still healthy at point (knock on wood) this gives a good chance for others than Ant to have a breakthrough in their game. Come playoff time this could help make us an even more well rounded roster. I just hope Jaden uses this as his green light season.

I'm glad it's being addressed now tbh. Two months is not that much time, and look at the team - we have more than enough to be alright until after Christmas while Ant fully recovers. It'll be a chance for players like Jaden, Ayo or TSJ to step up and when Ant's back in January there will be plenty of time left until the playoffs for him to get into rythm.

We'll be just fine, not worried.
