Refs hate him, receivers doing him no favors…continues to control everything he can at a very high (dare I say the E word?) level. I feel very lucky to have this guy leading us every week, hopefully his time in the twilight zone ends soon

Analysis I don’t understand how this wasn’t called for taunting

So Golden gets flagged for taunting just for 'flexing' his biceps after a catch against the Cowboys, but this is fine?

Analysis Officiating, from a rival

I’m a diehard Vikings fan, and generally don’t come in peace. With that said you guys are getting fucked over in ways I couldn’t fathom as recently as last year. I don’t get it. I’ve watched nearly every pack game this year. In week 1, I remember thinking we got at least 75% of calls that game and it sticking out as odd. We had several drives get extended by Ticky Tack calls (lord knows this offense needed them to function, too)

Then I watched the next week when you guys got all these phantom calls against you again. Then last week with the phantom RTP call(s). So many drive-extending calls against Green Bay. This week against the lions was a masterclass on one-sided officiating. What the hell, man? ANOTHER phantom roughing the passer call? What’s with the jumping offsides Lions dances? I started laughing because I figured they’d get called for team celebration and they’d pull a Lions and miss the FG by taking the neutral zone infraction, then moving back 15. But nope. All good, I guess!

I don’t mind seeing you lose, but not like this.

I’m not saying anything you all aren’t also screaming about, but it’s not just been one or two games, and it’s not getting better or regressing to the mean. This year’s NFC North is awesome and I don’t want it spoiled by weird officiating.

Didn’t see this hit get talked about much, but isn’t he leading with his helmet and then hits Kraft’s helmet?

Analysis Jordan Love has been hit the most by any starting QB yet no roughing the passer calls

By the numbers he has been hit 46 times with 0 roughing calls. On the other side Packers defense has hit QBs 42 times and been called for roughing 8 times. Let's all submit a inquiry to the NFL highlighting the disparity and players safely. Here's a link where you can submit it. If it didn't initially open click the top right menu and submit a request.

Analysis About Smack. Just let it go. He missed a nasty one tonight. The other was blocked. Trust the young guy to get it together and keep hitting 55ers. What other choice do we have anyway?

Being able to get open is great but if you can’t catch the ball it doesn’t matter. Dropped passes are plaguing this team.

News [Rapoport] Packers C Sean Rhyan, who left Sunday’s game with an ankle injury, is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, sources say. X-Rays were negative, and he has an MRI today. But high-ankle sprains are often 4-6 week injuries.

All I can do is laugh at how unserious the NFL is about officiating. Last week Golden gets flagged for taunting, and then get fined for it. This week the Lions get the Packers in the neutral zone and the entire offense starts dancing. The worst part is, the NFL makes a montage of the whole thing on their official Twitter page. Are the Packers being punished?

The Packers still had chances to take the game yesterday and ultimately didn't execute, but man, its just silly how these refs have been.

They have to play better so the refs cant decide the game.

Analysis A Massive Issue

The refs.

I am here to discuss the refs, the god-awful, blind as fuck, scatterbrained and inbred delinquents of society that the NFL employs, who should be jailed for what is clear and blatant rigging of NFL games for what is either personal bias or personal profit. In the words of X, “A lot of shit that doesn’t make sense.”

There is a clear bias currently, and especially this year but in previous years since Rodgers left the team, against the Packers. Before this season, however, it was the regular things occurring with most teams: missed but clear as day holds and easy to call PIs that the ref crew simply thought was ’hand fighting‘.

This year has been egregious, however. You cannot touch the QB. It will be flagged. You cannot show extra effort and make sure a player is down. It will be flagged. Handfighting and taunting? Only a penalty if the Packers do it.

I do not agree that the Lions should be flagged for celebrating, but I believe that if one ref crew calls flexing an excess celebration that warrants a fine and flag, it should be called evenly across the league. Other leagues, like the NBA, have shown this as an issue and are working to correct it by outlying and outlining more clearly what should be points of emphasis in the rulebook. We hear none of this with the NFL refs.

At this point, I am considering watching only Packers games and ‘boycotting‘ the rest of the league (not that does much). Some action has to be taken: the product is the NFL is being cheapened out, and arrests need to be made eventually because there is clear gambling going on here. I am aware the Packers have many issues involving players and the team, but we cannot fight a battle both with the opponent and the refs and expect to win.

Go Pack Go!

Analysis The Packers have missed a kick in an astounding 47% of games since the start of the 2023 season. XP or FGs.

This includes at least one miss in all four playoff games.

29 of 62 games they have missed atleast at least one kick (47%)

8 of 62 games they have missed 2 or more kicks in a game (13%). They have had FIVE different kickers miss multiple kicks in a game in this span. Carlson, narveson, McManus, havrisik, and Trey Smack.

In total, they are 78% on field goals and 92% on extra points since the start of 2023. Absolutely putrid. An organizational failure.

Analysis The Cisse Interception and PI

Thumbnail
gallery
68 Upvotes

I remember watching the game and seeing the PI flag on Cisse's interception come very late and from off camera and it seemed super fishy. So I watched the All-22 of the play and realized that the ref that called the PI, didn't even start reaching for his flag until Cisse had made the interception. Almost as if, he wasn't going to call one then suddenly it was picked off and then decided to.

In the first photo I uploaded, Cisse had already made the break for the ball so apparently the PI had already occurred. The ref is at the top of the screen, by the pylon. A peculiar angle by the way to see Cisse's hand "turn" St Brown.

In the second photo, Cisse has made the INT and only then did the ref start reaching for the flag in his pocket.

Take this as you will, but it makes me wonder...

Analysis I'm actually feeling pretty good about this team

The Packers defense without Micah Parsons (and Edge Cooper, RIP) just held what I believe to be a top 3 offense in the league to their lowest point total of the season, including what should have been a defining 4th down stop late in the game (a 4th down we got to after our rookie 4th round EDGE tackled Gibbs in the open field on 3rd and 1 I might add) that should have put us ahead. Brandon Cisse had his best game of his young career against some bona fide NFL WRs. Jordan Love is playing the best football of his entire career, in the last month he has played at a top 3 QB in the league level. And if they can swing a trade for Nelson from the Colts and/or get Zeitler into the lineup, the run game and overall offense could level up as well. Yes it sucks to lose a divisional game like that, especially with how good the rest of the division is, but from what this team looked like in the first few weeks and especially after the Atlanta game, they are now right there among the NFC contenders in my book

Fandom Ready to Smack Some FG

Post image

I was practicing field goals at the local school practice field after yesterday's game. I can make about 50% from 20 yards and getting better. If the Packers kicking game gets any worse, I'll be ready for a league minimum contract.

All jokes aside, give the young kid some room to grow. We spent a draft pick on him and for this year, we are invested in him. Mason Crosby even had a year where he struggled.
