I moved to Odenton a few weeks ago to to work on Meade, and got my airbags stolen.

This is actually the first time my car has been broke into and I have lived for years in both Albuquerque and Saint Louis, so this must be a new thing going on.

My apartment complex (Flats 170) doesn't have any cameras and they can't really do anything, the police did not even show up, just took a report over the phone.

In the future I will be buying one of those full wheel lock things that covers the airbag.

I should also say that besides this, I have had a really pleasant and nice time in Maryland! Everyone has been friendly, and it seems that pretty much everything is better than where I was living before in Saint Louis. Roads and public services are nicer, it seems there is more money here, and things are cleaner generally, grocery stores have better food, and there seems to be a less visible omnipresence of crime and decay like back in STL.

The only other complaints is that it seems that people drive really fast and aggressively here, where in MO people literally drive 10-15 miles under the speed limit wherever they go for some reason.

Last night (10/16/26), I was at the Egyptian for a movie. Around 8:45, my theater got an evacuation command over the loudspeaker. The whole theater was evacuated, and Chevy's and other nearby restaurants were as well. I'm less sure if the other "neighborhoods" of the mall were evacuated (from the parking lots, it seems like maybe not?)

Anyone know what happened? There were plenty of emergency vehicles but very little communication.

I was there when it happened too and it was helicopters around 20-25 police cars and we where even stopped to see if we matched the descriptions of the shooters, whenever i try to bring this up people have no idea that this even happened, even AI thinks it never happened

Can anyone give me recommendations for good ballet programs in the county for kids 2+? Would be nice if they offer different kinds of dance but a focus on ballet.

Online gaming interests are putting money on state Sen. Shaneka Henson, funding a wave of negative campaign ads against her Republican opponent, Jessica Haire. It isn't an issue anywhere in Maryland. Here's why they're spending so much.

Does anyone know why there is always a huge amount of bulk trash on the side of Furnace road? Tires, sofas, cabinets etc. I've been driving by it for years wondering.
