Airline's actions 'fraudulent,' air passenger advocate says

Spotted this one poking up above the treeline in a tiny Ontario hamlet, sitting on a hill over a small river and an old mill. It’s a geodesic dome home that sat empty for over 30 years after its owners left around 1990. It was overgrown, weathered, and still had that 70s “house of the future” optimism even while it was falling apart.

The triangle-panel ceiling is the best part. The light inside a dome is unlike any other abandoned house I’ve shot.

🎃 In 2025, 75% of the area harvested for fresh pumpkins in Canada was in Ontario.

🎃 In 2025, pumpkin production reached record levels, with 4,746 hectares planted and 4,387 hectares harvested, the highest figures since data collection began in 2007.

🎃 Nearly all of Canada’s exports of pumpkins, squash and gourds (over 99%!) headed to the United States in 2025, with the rest shared between France and its own territory within our borders, Saint Pierre and Miquelon.

C’est la saison officielle des citrouilles! Voici quelques faits amusants pour célébrer la journée de la citrouille.

🎃 En 2025, 75 % de la superficie récoltée de citrouilles fraîches au Canada se trouvait en Ontario.

🎃 En 2025, la superficie ensemencée de citrouilles s’est chiffrée à 4 746 hectares et la superficie récoltée, à 4 387 hectares. Ces deux superficies sont les plus importantes à avoir été enregistrées depuis que nous avons commencé à en faire le suivi, en 2007.

🎃 La quasi-totalité (plus de 99 %!) des exportations du Canada de citrouilles, de courges et de calebasses a été acheminée vers les États-Unis en 2025. La proportion restante a été répartie entre la France et son territoire situé à l’intérieur de nos frontières, c’est-à-dire Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.

Found this in an abandoned house in Ontario. Rush with Max Webster at the Welland Arena, June 17, 1976, $5.50 at the door, just a few months after 2112 came out.

The house is basically a time capsule of a lifelong music fan. The last calendar on the wall is from November 2003, and the owner hasn’t lived there since. Other things I found:

• An Uncle Sam’s monthly lineup poster with Moxy, Coney Hatch, Honeymoon Suite, Goddo and more
• More stubs from Honeymoon Suite, Kim Mitchell, Toronto and Rough Trade shows around Niagara
• Three signed Davy Jones (Monkees) photos
• Old Rolling Stone and Circus magazines, including a George Harrison cover
• A Sloan single, a Beatles Fan pin and a full set of Beatles album mugs
• Cases of cassettes: Platinum Blonde, KISS, Queen, The Beatles, The Doors
• Turntables, 8-track and reel-to-reel decks in nearly every room
• An ALF doll, a rotary phone and a little Christmas tree still standing in the corner

I didn’t take anything; everything was photographed and left where it was. Did anyone here go to shows at Uncle Sam’s or the Welland Arena back then?
